Beaches near Kusadasi, Turkey.
There are many beaches in and around Kusadasi. Five minutes ride on the Dolmus takes you to the infamous Ladies Beach,
which has the usual array of shops, bars, and restaurants. Water sports are available as well. Further south of Kusadasi
is the large stretch of twenty-two kilometres of quiet sands known as Long Beach.
Other beaches near the National Park further down the coast are Diamond Beach, Star Beach, and Love Beach and are easily reached by the Dolmus. Ten minutes
Dolmus ride on the north side of Kusadasi is Kuster Beach with a small number of café bars and shops. The beach is
quieter than Ladies Beach but still has sun beds, umbrellas, and water sports.
Staying on the Dolmus past Kuster, you come to the large water parks of Adaland, and Aquapark. Adaland is believed to
be amongst the largest water parks in Europe.
If you leave the centre of Kusadasi towards the direction of Ladies Beach you arrive at the port. Many large cruise ships visit
regularly, staying for the day to allow its passengers to enjoy the shopping, and the sights around Kusadasi. From the port you
can take the daily ferry to the Greek Island of Samos leaving in the morning and returning late afternoon. Carrying along the
road is the marina. Boat trips can be taken daily sailing around the small islands in the Aegean seas. Walk along the causeway
to Pigeon Island, a bird sanctuary with stunning views looking back over Kusadasi while you take a drink at one of the cafes.
